Do US or South Carolina labor laws state how many hours are required between shifts for a full time hourly employee in grocery retail employment? I'm being scheduled as little as 6 hours between shifts and am being threatened with being cut to part-time if I don't like the schedule. Where can I get a copy of any regulations regarding this issue?
Answers:
1Contact your State Labor board. I used to know when I was stationed there in the Navy, but when I retired, we moved back to the midwest. That was 10 years ago and laws change. I added the website for the state, or you can call the labor office. They have one in most large cities, or you can call the office in Columbia.
